Nice Cote d'Azur, will host the 11th edition of China Workshop in 2027!

China Workshop is the only professional tourism conference in France and Europe that focuses on the Chinese tourism market, hosted by ID Travel Pro.

China's tourism market is experiencing a full recovery and growth. As the world's second-largest economy, China's GDP grew by 5% in 2024, and according to Atout France data, the number of Chinese outbound tourists exceeded 167.5 million in 2025. According to Alliance France Chine data, France received approximately 1.4 million to 1.5 million Chinese tourists in 2024, roughly 70% of the historical peak in 2019 (2.1 million to 2.2 million).

Nice Cote d'Azur, is considered a romantic destination and a symbol of the "Double Delight," attracting 35,000 Chinese tourists in 2024. In October 2025, China ranked third among foreign visitors to the French Riviera; by February 2026, it had risen to second place, behind only Italy and surpassing the United States. Chinese tourists are characterized by high daily spending—€135 per day—and a strong demand for high-end experiences and the Mediterranean lifestyle.

The growth in the number of Chinese tourists makes the China Workshop particularly timely: it is a natural continuation of this growth momentum and a good opportunity to strengthen the company's position among Chinese customers.

China Workshop 2027 (CW2027) will be held on Tuesday, February 16 and Wednesday, February 17, 2027, lasting two full days and conducted by appointment only.

The target buyers for workshop are over one hundred Chinese tourism professionals (travel agencies, tour operators, customized tour operators, Chinese DMCs, OTAs, M.I.C.E., etc.) from Greater China, Asian countries such as Singapore and Malaysia, various European countries, the United States and Canada, etc., who were specifically invited by the organizer.

Another highlight of China Workshop 2027: ID Travel Pro will launch the CW Club online system (China Workshop online), a brand-new online system designed to extend professional exchanges beyond the two-day meetings.

As a supplementary tool to the annual event, the platform's mission is to promote, facilitate, expand, and enhance interaction and exchange between the upstream and downstream sectors of the European tourism market and the Chinese and global Chinese-speaking communities.

CW Club online system helps you better reach the Chinese market:

• Exclusive display space for members

• Online career communication tools

• Achieve more precise upstream and downstream cooperation through supply and demand matching.

• Finding and developing potential customers

• Managing Partners

• More value-added promotional services from the CW ecosystem

The CW Club online system will be in beta testing from its launch date (planned for December 1, 2026) to February 28, 2027 (approximately three months of free trial use). It will officially launch as a paid service on March 1, 2027, with an annual fee system.

The basic annual fee for CW Club membership is 800 euros HT.
